Moong Dal Spinach Soup (Protein Detox Bowl)

1/2 cup yellow moong dal
2 cups chopped spinach
1/2 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tsp ghee or coconut oil
3 cups water
Instructions
Instructions:
Pressure cook dal with turmeric and water (or simmer until soft).
In a separate pan, temper cumin in ghee/oil, sauté onion and garlic.
Add spinach, cook till wilted, and mix into dal.
Adjust consistency and simmer 5 minutes. Serve hot.
